Lloyd Price (born March 9, 1933 in Kenner, Louisiana) was an early rock and roll musician. Along by having his brother, Leo Price, Lloyd Price put together the band. Dave Barthomolew, who experienced modems sustaining Specialty Records, put together a meeting between the pair & Price sang "Lawdy Miss Clawdy", which ending higher existence the massive R&B hit. Stay Specialty Records, Price so discharged "Oooh, Oooh, Oooh", "Restless Heart", "Tell Me Pretty Baby" & "Ain't It a Shame". He was so drafted and ended up around Korea. Price yet managed to leave KRC Records with Harold Logan and Bill Boskent. A foremost only was "Just Because", followed by the massive hit, "Stagger Lee". Dick Clark insisted the violent content of the song exist as toned down while Price appeared in American Bandstand. Within 1962, Price formed Double L Records with Logan. Wilson Pickett got his start on this label. Inside 1969, Logan was murdered and Price escaped by moving to Africa. Price so refused to tour until 1993, when Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard and Gary U.S. Bonds accompanied him on a European tour.
